Jason Holder: a capable lower order batsman

# Bannerman’s hundred was the first in the history of test cricket and scored on the very first day.

# These were the only test hundreds for –Bannerman, Henry Wood, Depeiaza, Alexzander, Saqlain, Rafique, Jerome Taylor, Nafees and Holder.

# Henry wood played 316 FC matches – the most by any with just one FC hundred and that coming in a test match.

# Sangakkara and Healy scored their first four FC hundreds in test matches. These were the only 4 hundreds in Healy’s entire FC career.

# Jerome Taylor and Bruce Taylor didn’t even had a fifty in their FC career at the time of their maiden test century.

# Brendon Kuruppu & Jason Gillespie scored double hundreds and these remained their only hundreds in their test career. Gillespie didn’t play another test and Kuruppu played just 3 more in his entire career.

# Bannerman, Graham, Griffith, Bruce Taylor, Kuruppu, Azhar Mahmood and Abul Hasan were on their test debut.

# Bruce Taylor also took a took a 5-fer in the same test thereby making it the only instance of a player scoring a hundred and taking a 5-fer in his debut test.

# Nasim-ul-Ghani was a night watchman in the test where he scored his maiden FC hundred.

# Harbhajan scored another hundred in his next test and these two are his only hundreds in his FC career.
