Last Man Standing!!!

India and England bagan their 42 day long 5 match test series at Trent Bridge. It was the first test both sides are playing after the ICC has been reconstituted with India, England and Australia at the helm of affairs. It was a test match in which the headlines were created by the bowlers, but rather surprisingly for their batting. Mohammed Shami, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and James Anderson all made merry on a docile and life-less track. Out of the 26 century partnerships for the 10th wicket in tests, 12 came since 2000 indicating how seriously tail enders take care of their batting.  Let us look into some of the batting records broken by the bowlers during the test match.
